Publication Ethics

Our commitment to honesty, transparency, and integrity in inclusive research.

Core Values

PRAGYA adheres to the highest ethical standards. We follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure that every paper we publish is honest and reliable.

Responsibilities of Authors

Originality

Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

Authorship

Only those who have made a significant contribution to the research should be listed as authors.

Data Integrity

Fabrication or falsification of data is a serious ethical violation and will lead to immediate rejection.

Human Rights

Research involving humans must follow the Declaration of Helsinki and respect the dignity of participants.

Ethical Inclusion (Easy-Read)

In PRAGYA, we make sure that people with disabilities are treated with respect in research. Informed Consent must be taken in a way the person understands (Easy-Language, Sign Language, or Braille).

Handling Misconduct

In cases of suspected misconduct, the Editorial Board will follow COPE flowcharts. This may result in the retraction of the article and notification to the author's institution.
