Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all fees paid to Manovikas Institute for Higher Education (MIHE), the academic wing of Manovikas Charitable Society, through this website.

Last updated: August 2026

Fees are non-refundable.

Once a payment is made it cannot be refunded, whether or not you attend. Please read this page in full and be sure of your dates before you register.

1. Why fees are non-refundable

Places on our programmes are limited. When you register, a seat is withdrawn from public availability and the institution commits in advance to venue, resource persons, printing, catering and regulatory filing. Those costs are incurred whether or not a registered participant attends.

For programmes approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India as Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE), participant lists and fees are governed by RCI norms, and registrations are treated as final once made.

2. What this covers

The following are non-refundable in all cases:

  • Programme and CRE fees
  • Course and certificate fees
  • Resource materials, meals and refreshments purchased with a programme
  • Facilitation charges
  • Payment gateway charges

This applies equally where you:

  • are unable to attend for any reason, including illness, travel or work;
  • attend only part of a programme;
  • do not complete an online course after access has been granted;
  • do not meet the attendance or assessment requirement for a certificate;
  • registered here but did not complete your separate registration with RCI.
Online courses Access to digital course content begins immediately on payment. Because the material is delivered in full at the moment of purchase and cannot be returned, no refund is possible once access has been granted.

3. Cancellations

You may cancel your registration at any time by writing to us, and we would be grateful if you did, so that the seat can be offered to someone else. Cancellation does not create a right to a refund, at any notice period.

4. The three exceptions

There are three situations in which money is returned. None is a refund of a fee for a service you received — each is the correction of a payment that should not have stood.

1. Duplicate or erroneous charges If you were charged twice for the same registration, or charged an amount other than the one shown at checkout, tell us within 7 days and we will return the excess in full, including facilitation and gateway charges.
2. A programme cancelled or postponed by MIHE If we cancel a programme, or move it to a date you cannot attend, you may choose either a full refund of everything you paid — including facilitation and gateway charges — or a transfer of the whole amount to the rescheduled date or another MIHE programme. We will contact every registered participant directly if this happens.
3. A payment that failed but was debited If a payment fails and money still leaves your account, that amount was never received by MIHE. It is a bank-side hold and is normally released automatically within 5 to 7 working days. If it is not, write to us with the payment reference and we will help you trace it with the payment gateway.

5. How to raise one of these

  1. Email mcs@manovikas.co.in from the address you registered with.
  2. Include your registration number and payment reference.
  3. State which of the three situations applies.

We acknowledge within 3 working days and confirm the outcome within 7 working days.

6. How money is returned

  • Always to the original payment method. We cannot redirect it to another account.
  • Initiated within 7 working days of approval.
  • Your bank or card issuer then takes a further 5 to 10 working days to credit it. That part is outside our control.
  • All amounts are in Indian Rupees.

7. CRE points and certificates

For RCI CRE programmes, CRE points are awarded by the Rehabilitation Council of India on the basis of the attendance we report. They are not issued by MIHE, and no action by us can create, alter or reverse points once RCI has credited them.

Registering on this site does not register you with RCI. Registration on the RCI CRE Calendar is separate and mandatory, and RCI does not permit it once a programme has begun. Failure to complete that separate registration does not entitle you to a refund of the fee paid here.

8. Before you pay

Because fees cannot be returned, please check before registering that:

  • you are free on the programme dates;
  • you have chosen the right registration option;
  • your name matches your RCI record, if you are registering as a professional;
  • you have told us about any access requirement or meal preference;
  • you have also registered on the RCI CRE Calendar, where the programme is CRE-approved.

If anything is unclear, please write to us before paying rather than after. We would much rather answer a question than decline a refund.

9. Disputes

If you disagree with a decision, write to manovikas@manovikas.family with the subject "Refund review". A senior member of the institution not involved in the original decision will review it and respond within 15 working days.

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have jurisdiction.
