Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the MIHE Academy platform and your registration for any course, seminar or programme offered through it.

1. Who we are

This platform is operated by Manovikas Institute for Higher Education (MIHE), the academic wing of Manovikas Charitable Society, a registered charitable society working in intellectual and developmental disability since 1997, at 60-A Radhey Puri Extension 1, Swami Dayanand Marg, Delhi – 110051, India.

By registering or using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. What we provide

• Online courses — self-paced, bilingual, accessible learning with a certificate on completion.
• Seminars, workshops and CRE programmes — dated events held in person or online, some approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India for CRE points.
• Resource materials — handbooks, assessment tools and publications, some free and some paid.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information. For RCI programmes your name must match your RCI record, or points cannot be credited.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
• One account per person. Accounts may not be shared or transferred.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used by someone else.

4. Fees and pricing

All fees are shown in Indian Rupees and are displayed in full, itemised, before you pay. Where a programme fee is accompanied by other charges, each is shown separately at checkout:

Nothing is added after you reach the payment page. The amount shown before you pay is the amount charged.

5. Payments

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. MIHE does not see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
• Your registration is confirmed only when payment succeeds. A pending or failed payment does not hold a place.
• If a payment is debited but not confirmed, contact us with the reference and we will trace it.

6. Service delivery

How and when you receive what you have paid for:

Online courses

Access is granted immediately on successful payment. Login details are emailed to the address you registered with, normally within minutes. If nothing arrives within 24 hours, check your spam folder and then contact us.

Seminars, workshops and CRE programmes

• Confirmation is emailed immediately on payment.
• Joining details, venue information and any pre-reading are sent at least 3 days before the programme.
• For in-person programmes, materials and meals — where purchased — are provided at the venue on the day.
• Certificates are issued within 15 working days of completion, subject to attendance and any assessment requirement.

Digital publications

Download links are emailed on payment and remain valid for 7 days. If a link expires before you use it, write to us and we will issue a fresh one.

7. Certificates and CRE points

MIHE certificates are issued on meeting the stated completion requirement and can be verified at any time through the verification page on this site.

8. Using our content

• Course content, assessment tools, handbooks and publications remain the intellectual property of Manovikas Charitable Society or its licensors.
• You may use them in your own professional practice and with the people you support.
• You may not resell them, republish them, or use them to run paid training without our written permission.
• Please credit Manovikas where you use our material.
• Some material is adapted under permission from other institutions; where so, that is stated on the material itself and those permissions travel with it.

9. Acceptable use

When using this platform, do not:

• share your login, or attempt to access another person's account;
• attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the platform;
• upload anything unlawful, or anything that identifies a person with a disability without their consent;
• use the platform to harass any learner, staff member or resource person.

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. Fees are not refunded in that case.

10. Professional judgement

Our courses and assessment tools support professional practice; they do not replace it. Nothing on this platform is a clinical diagnosis, a legal opinion, or a substitute for individual professional assessment of a particular person. Decisions about a person's support, education or care remain the responsibility of the qualified professionals and the family involved.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting faults or events outside our control may interrupt access. Where an interruption materially prevents you from completing a paid course, contact us and we will extend access.

12. Changes to a programme

Occasionally a resource person, timing or venue must change. We will inform registered participants as early as we can. If a change means you can no longer attend, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

13. Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Privacy

Information you give us is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any programme or content is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
