Article Processing Charge
PRAGYA is an open access journal and charges no fee to readers. To sustain editorial and production work, a single Article Processing Charge (APC) is levied on acceptance.

Charges That Do Not Apply
The APC above is the only charge. PRAGYA does not levy any of the following, at any point from submission to publication:
Authors may withdraw a manuscript at any stage before publication at no cost.
Fee Waivers
PRAGYA waives the Article Processing Charge in full wherever payment would prevent publication. No author should be unable to publish with us because of cost.
A full waiver is available to:
- Authors based in low-income and lower-middle-income countries
- Independent researchers with no institutional funding
- Students and early-career researchers without a grant
- Self-advocates with disabilities writing about their own experience
- Any author for whom the charge is a barrier — simply tell us
How to request a waiver
Email journal@mihe.ac.in at the time of submission, stating that you are requesting a waiver. No documentation or proof of income is required. Requests are answered within seven working days.
Waivers do not affect editorial decisions
Waiver requests are handled by the editorial office, separately from peer review. Editors and reviewers are not told whether an author has requested or been granted a waiver. Ability to pay plays no part in whether a manuscript is accepted.
